The internal academy, called WoW! Academy (WoW = “Well of Wisdom”) is a system of sharing knowledge and skills within Jamnica that come from our employees.
As part of WoW! Academy, educations are available to all employees, and once a month the topic covers one of four areas: professional/technical knowledge (e.g. Excel, Cognos, creating a presentation in PowerPoint…), business processes (procurement process, HR for non HR, budgeting and planning…), personal development (project management, assertive communication, business etiquette and business correspondence…) or some other area that our employees recognize as important to share (household budget management, private-business balance…).
It’s been a little over a year since the Wow! Academy launch, and since then our WoW! trainers held over 20 training sessions attended by more than 300 employees.
Wow! The academy gathers 25 internal trainers, some of whom have already shared their knowledge and experience with other employees through training, while some of them will still hold training.
We are extremely grateful to them for their effort and willingness to share their knowledge through our academy, and we rewarded those trainers who have held training so far with symbolic prizes.
Of course – without our employees who are “thirsty for knowledge” there would be no WoW! Academy! 😊
